Urgent Kickball News

Attention Kickballers,

We have important news about this week. We have ran into some challenges with Mother Nature and Tempe Parks.

This week 8/7/09 we had week 6 scheduled and 8/8/09 we had the All-Star Game schedule.

First we heard from many of you, that you would prefer not to play the All Star Game due to the hot afternoons during the summer.

As we were looking to find another option we were hit with info that we would be loosing Daley Park (just for August). Tempe Parks gave us Kiwanis Park to make up for it except for this week. They could only give us a middle school park with NO BOOZE!

So like any reasonable and responsible kickballer would do, we have decided to schedule a PARTY instead. That's right this Friday, 8/7/09, there will be NO GAMES and there will be NO All-Star Game on 8/8/09. Instead we will buy pizza and beer at Boulders on Broadway for all NAKAD Kickballers! That's right Friday Night, we will be at BOULDERS.

So come in casual wear or your kickball gear. The food and beer starts at 7:30pm and the Beer Pong and Flip Cup will start soon after. What do kickballers do if they can't kick a ball....PARTY! We will have prizes for Flip Cup and Beer Pong so come ready to get your NAKAD swag.

PS...Tempe Parks have assured us that next season we will have Daley Park the whole season. Look for registration to open soon.
