R.S.V.P. for your Game!

Hey everyone, first off, the Tempe Monsoon schedule is filled out for the rest of the season. Note that the 8:00 game previously said 8:10 and is now corrected.

I'd like to announce a new feature that we've added and I would love your feedback. When you first log into the site, or go to the My Homepage link on the right, it takes you to a summary page. The summary page shows you your next games, any team announcements, and NAKAD News below that. Well, to help captains prepare for game day, we've added a feature where you can R.S.V.P. for your upcoming games. Check it out, RSVP, let us know what you think. Is there something you'd like to add? Remove? Change?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on if an RSVP should be for each individual game, or for the whole night.

Captains, when you log in, you should now see your team name as a link. Clicking on it should show you who has RSVP for that game. You'll also notice that next to your team name is a mail icon. Clicking this will take you to the page for sending your team a message.

Keep in mind that the RSVP system is in beta, and may not be 100% reliable yet. Your feedback and use will help solidify the tool. Thanks!

When I click on our team name for the first game, it shows two people from the other team. Showing just the total RSVP's could get confusing if it's not organized by team (I don't need to know who's attending from the other team). The MOB has been great about RSVP'ing through facebook, and to keep things consistent through the season, we'll probably continue to use FB. We do RSVP's for each night as opposed to each game. Thanks for getting that together though.

Thanks for the feedback Lisa. Its not supposed to show RSVPs for the opposing team, for sure. I'll have to look into that. I'm actually looking into creating an app for Facebook that automatically creates an event for your team each week. Then if you RSVP through it, it'll update the website as well. Would that be helpful? This is all part of a larger plan that'll allow you to create kicking and sitting orders on the website as well.

I agree with Ricky. Tom "YourMom" used a rsvp website for us when I played for him, and I liked that method a lot. Needless to say I think you are creating great stuff for us in the league. thank you.
